I really enjoyed that! Auster is one of my favorite writers (I like his fiction and his non-fiction)--and I'm totally with him on his admiration for TCM. Speaking of old-time movies, does anyone else think that as he's aged Auster is beginning to bear an uncanny resemblance to Raymond Massey?

I love TCM, too. Now that you mention it, the Raymond Massey resemblance is there, for sure.
