Would see the "Home of the Carousel" sign every time I've been to North Tonawanda, but never the factory/museum. Must not have been on the routes to the bookstores and the Kelleys' favorite restaurant. The old Wurlitzer factory, however, I've seen many times.
A group of supporters have been working on restoring the HERSCHELL CAROUSEL FACOTRY MUSEUM for years. Until recently, it was only open at random times. The next time Art Scott comes to visit North Tonawanda, Diane and I will have to give him the tour. The same goes for the rest of you carousel fans!

If i'm ever in the neighbourhood, I'm going!
My favorite carnival ride, and about the most exciting one I can take. I love the carved animals, too.
