How about getting up and walking to the TV set to change the channel (my TV was a black and white 13-inch). The selector dial had 13 numbers on it. How about NO INTERNET. At all. Or party lines for the telephone. Those were all cordless phones. But before that, phones all had cords. And round dials that went click-click-click... when you dialed. I remember when there was no 911. I remember when you dialed 411 and got an operator who looked up a number for you, and it was a free service.
Oh, and how about writing in cursive on paper, putting the paper in an envelope, putting an addess on it, a stamp, and putting in the mailbox, with the little red flag up?

Boy, people had it rough in the '90s. Those kid would REALLY never believe some of the stuff from the '50s and '60s, would they?
