Vegan Barbecue is an oxymoron. So is whoever came up with this idea.
My attitude is, if you think vegan brisket is not a food, don't order it. But if someone else likes it, why should you care? You don't have to eat it.
I've had a vegan barbecue item and it was pretty damn good. Not to say that I eschew the real thing.I've long felt that the ultimate oxymoron is "vegan Texan." In fact, admitting to such a thing while in Texas might just get you shot. IMO.
