A few of those really are "forgotten"...to me, at least.For some reason, I always think of I FOUGHT THE LAW as a late-fifties song. To see it on the same chart as NOWHERE MAN and DAYDREAM is a reality adjustment!

Definitely not. "I Fought the Law" was 1966, all right. I remember when "Ballad of the Green Berets" was #1.
This is the soundtrack of my sophomore year in high school, second semester. I haven't heard "Walkin' My Cat Named Dog" in years, years.
