Warning: Do NOT look at the Elisa Lam elevator footage (last known film of her alive) if you want to sleep tonight. It's creepy as hell and you'll never convince me she didn't see someone who frightened her terribly in the corridor.
Walter Satterthwait and I have discussed that case at length (not to say obsessively), and we've come to the conclusion that the best evidence is that she didn't see anyone. I'm not sure which of the many things we read convinced us or I'd link it. But not to worry. I won't try to convince you.

The whole case is bizarre, but that elevator footage...yikes!
#11. I thought there was some indication that her husband or boy friend (I forget which) was implicated. But with no proof that she's actually dead...
