NYC top 10 from 11/10/65:

1 1 I HEAR A SYMPHONY - The Supremes
2 2 A LOVER’S CONCERTO - The Toys
3 3 1-2-3 - Len Barry
4 5 GET OFF OF MY CLOUD - The Rolling Stones
5 7 RESCUE ME - Fontella Bass
6 6 LET’S HANG ON! - The 4 Seasons
7 4 KEEP ON DANCING - The Gentrys
8 18 TASTE OF HONEY - Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass
9 11 EVERYONE’S GONE TO THE MOON - Jonathan King
10 22 YOU’VE GOT TO HIDE YOUR LOVE AWAY - The Silkie

The biggest jump (from 51 to 16) was Dylan's "Don't Think Twice" by The Wonder Who?, which was actually (of course) Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. "I Can Never Go Home Anymore" by The ShangriLas went from 24 to 14 and "It's My Life" by The Animals from 42 to 22.

Good music. At least to me. I'm sure it would drive the whippersnappers crazy if they had to listen to it.

Dunno why this didn't post this afternoon, but, forthwith, the Billboard list (I made it the Top 15, because 11-13 were sort of worth mentioning):

Get Off My Cloud. The Rolling Stones
A Lover's Concerto. Ten Toys
1-2-3. Len Barry
You're the One. The Vogues
I Hear a Symphony. The Supremes
Rescue Me. Fontella Bass
Everybody Loves a Clown. Gary Lewis & the Playboys
Let's Hang On. The Four Seasons
A Taste of Honey. Herb Alpert
Ain't That Peculiar. Marvin Gaye
Yesterday. The Beatles
Turn, Turn, Turn. The Byrds
Positively Fourth Street. Bob Dylan
I Knew You When. Billy Joe Royal
But You're Mine. Sonny & Cher

Best song in the Billboard Top 10 is #10, in my opinion.
