When I was growing up, a graphic novel was something like LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER or LAST EXIT TO BROOKLYN. Ya know...graphic.
But not illustrated?
Greatest graphic novel ever, Maus I and Maus II.
These days I'm often on the lookout for good graphics.
My favorite is FUN HOME by Allison Bechtel.
Missing: Harvey Kurtzman's Jungle Book, Justin Green's Binky Brown Meets the Holy Virgin Mary, and any of Lynd Ward's books.
