By the way, I knew Randy Quaid when I was in college. Randy, Brint Spiner, Cindy Pickett, and I were all in the University of Houston's production of "Cabaret" back in 1970. Of that group, I am apparently the only one to finish a PhD in mathematics, and the rest have just gone from one temporary job to another! ;-)

Chris Pratt would be a good choice to play Seepy Benton. Not only do he and I look exactly alike, his initials are already CP!
I'll be sure to let the casting director know.
Patton Oswalt is perfect casting. (Sorry, Seepy.)
But since you can't resurrect Abbott & Costello it will be tough to cast Hack and Lawton.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!
Perfect stunt casting: If Dennis Quaid is the Sheriff, Seepy Benton could be played by older brother Randy ("Hollywood Star Whackers") Quaid.
Jeff
I thought about that, but then the words "troubled production" popped into my head.
I was thinking Whoopie Goldberg to star with Bobcat Goldthwait supporting. If they could do it to Lawrence Block, they could do it to you!
Show me the money!

It's good to have steady work, and at least the Hollywood Star Whackers aren't after you.
Surely only Stellan Skarsgard will do for Dr. SB !
I've always been worried that once the Star Whackets get Randy that I might be next on the list!
