NYC top 10 of 12/9/64:

1 1 I FEEL FINE / SHE’S A WOMAN - The Beatles
2 3 COME SEE ABOUT ME - The Supremes
3 2 SHE’S NOT THERE - The Zombies
4 5 MY LOVE, FORGIVE ME (Amore, Scusami) - Robert Goulet
5 4 GOIN’ OUT OF MY HEAD - Little Anthony & The Imperials
6 10 WALKING IN THE RAIN - The Ronettes
7 6 MR. LONELY - Bobby Vinton
8 8 TIME IS ON MY SIDE - The Rolling Stones
9 14 OH NO NOT MY BABY - Maxine Brown
10 13 LOVE POTION NUMBER NINE - The Searchers

Looks like your buddy Robert Goulet was still hanging in there, something as inexplicable then as it is now.

I just listened to it. I don't remember ever hearing it before, but I have to admit that it's not a bad song. He sings it well, too. It's good to remember a time when the Top Ten could have something like that or like Bobby Vinton's song in it.

I had to click the link on that same page about Felix Cavaliere's Christmas concert. He's another of my secret husbands.
