"I Wanna Be Your Man" was a bit of their own toss-away, sold to the Rolling Stones (for whom it was a b-side hit, the flip of their cover of "Not Fade Away") and the first Lennon-McCartney on a Beatles album to be sung by Ringo Starr...

There are much worse songs on both the Beatles' and the Stones' early albums...and worse performances (Stones scholars note that it's one of the few or the only song where Jagger and Jones are the only singers, as well as noting the "roughness" of Jones's soloing).
