The girls and I are home today because St. Tammany parish schools are closed for weather. I have icicles hanging from the eaves this morning! Meanwhile, my husband has been working in Manhattan and Long Island this week and is unimpressed with "a bit of ice." Hurrumph!
We were watching TWC all the day down and saw the ice and freezing mix across Texas. People seem to think because they drive a massive SUV or have four-wheel drive they can go over anything but listen to George. You may be able to drive on ice but you won't be able to stoP!

Ice is rare in Alvin. Very rare. As a swamplander, I don't much like it. Let those New Yorkers scoff.
I have it on good authority that there is often ice in Alvin. Check those trays in your freezer.
I hadn't thought about that!
It was like Spring today, here. Sunny, mild, warmish. I'm glad I don't live in one of those frozen states right now.
We'll be back in the 60s tomorrow afternoon.
I never scoff at ice. Stay safe!
