I've always been a Cheyney fan. He took a lot of flak for his Bellem-inspired Lemmy Caution books, but this one (and most with "Dark" in the title) are fine, nasty little WWII espionage tales that stand up quite well.
I agree, Steve. The "Dark" books are well worth looking for.
