Stewart Sterling (Printice Winchel) had a couple interesting characters. His fire investigator was very popular, as was his hotel dick. They might have been a little far out, but then it was pulp, and they got away with a lot back then. He seemed to get away with a bit more racy fiction back then, however. Guess that's one reason his stories were so popular.
