I'd put "O Brother ...." at the top of this list. As far as I'm concerned, this movie is a Christian pilgrimage parable just as much as an Odysseus take-off. I think Walker Percy and even Flannery O'Connor (who generally didn't like movies and was "musically challenged") would have gotten a kick out of this one!
