When we visited the Cleveland hall a few years ago, my wife was disappointed that little, little, little space was given to performers from the pre-Beatles, pre-Motown era. At a quick glance, it doesn't appear that Lesley Gore, Ketty Lester, Della Reese, or the Shangri-Las have been inducted either. Connie Francis would certainly be a better choice than many of the inductees -- Bonnie Raitt? Patti Smith? Madonnna? Huh?

Fred-Connie Francis and Lesley Gore better than Patti Smith? Thats crazy.
I'd allow two or three from that list.
