Marsdon: I'm not an ebook buyer myself (first editions are my thing), but $7.99 doesn't strike me as being too extortionate for a Lyall. Maybe $5.99 would be nearer the mark though. Mind you, there's a part of me that finds the whole concept of paying for a book which doesn't actually exist slightly odd! (At which point the publisher I work for fires me.)
I'm sure I've mentioned elsewhere that the first remaindered book I ever bought was Lyall's THE WRONG SIDE OF THE SKY. I read and enjoyed a lot of his books after that.

I was so pleased to learn that Lyall's books are slowing being e-published for the Kindle, though the $7.99 prices is in my opinion way too high.
