Also on my list would be the march on Washington D.C and Martin Luther's I have a dream speech, Nixon's resignation, all of the Watergate hearings, the first "live" Summer Olympics, the Democratic Convention in Chicago, the first moon landing ("One small step for Man, one giant leap for Mankind".
