When our current governor won her first time the margin was exceedingly close. Had it not been for the few hundred dead people who voted for her she would not have won.
Weren't there a few stories about Lyndon Johnson that could have qualified for this list. I recall a joke about a little boy sitting on the curb crying. A man came up to him and asked why he was crying. The boy said that his father didn't come to visit him. The man said: "Son you know your father died a couple of years back." The kid replied, "That a lie. He was here last Tuesday, voting for Lyndon Johnson!"
