Not a horrible list as such lists go. No obvious bad choices, but the problem is that there were apparently no influential SF films between 1927 and 1969, which I'd argue is wrong. What about "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"? "The Day The Earth Stood Still"? "War Of The Worlds"? Even the first "Flash Gordon" serial could arguably be described as an influential SF film.
