Forget the title, but there was a movie about a summer romance with Shirly Booth. Seeing her in a bathing suit was a classic case of miscasting (and costuming) I can think of.
How about Barbra Streisand as a high price call girl in The Owl and the Pussycat. Or Denise Richards again as a Starship Commander in Starship Troopers.
Good lord, why pick on Wayne and Rooney? THE CONQUEROR was a western with swords, and the Rooney character in TIFFANY'S was a farcical role anyway. It wouldn't have mattered who was cast. These dolts may not realize that in the old days, Asians were usually played by non-Asians, including Brando, Robinson, Muni, Donat, Karloff, Lorre, Guinness, even Woody Strode. Things have changed for the better, but history is history.

How can they diss Denise Richard like that?
There are way worse:
Lucille Ball as MAME
Elizabeth Taylor in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC
Jeff
Richards
No! Not Denise Richards and her Oscar-worthy performance!
You must be happy, Bill, that the haters did not put Paris on the list.
(BTW, I liked Heston in TOUCH OF EVIL.)
Happy about PH not being there, but Richards' performance is, as you say, Oscar-worthy. There must be some mistake about putting her here.
They should take Denise out and insert the upcoming Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher.

Denise was outstanding in that one, too.
