I expected to find The Phantom Empire. So the list is bogus from the start.

And where's VALLEY OF GWANGI?

I would add BLAZING SADDLES except that I think the campfire/beans scene is very realistic.

Wild, Wild West was not just unrealistic - it sucked big time. Unwatchable and hideously awful also are apt descriptions.

THE TERROR OF TINY TOWN was fun for a few minutes, but then just kind of sad.

I wouldn't watch any movie that starred Chris Kattan, let alone an Old West zombie movie.

I hope they're wrong about COWBOYS & ALIENS because Jackie is determined to see it.

PS - Jerry, Bill is a big fan of VALLEY OF GWANGI.

Indeed I am. And where was Son of Paleface?

I don't see how they could include BILLY THE KID VS. DRACULA without its companion feature, JESSE JAMES MEETS FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER. Granted, John Carradine wasn't in the latter... of course, I've seen them both.

Well, yes, but ... I'd say most "cowboy" movies were (are) not "realistic". Certainly was true of the good ol' Saturday serials. But it don't (and didn't) bother me none! I love many and like most of them anyway.
I agree about W,WW, the movie, but, I liked W,WW - TV series, because of the many over-the-top guest star villain performances (Victor Buono, Burgess Meredith, Michael Dunn, Agnes Moorehead, John Dehner, ETC.).

I have to say the list is right about #1, as much as I like it as a "guilty pleasure". Forget about being unable to explain the "plot(s)" in one paragraph. it couldn't be explained in ANY number of paragraphs!

Wasn't Roy Orbison in a western?

The Fastest Guitar Alive, and it certainly belongs on this list.

Hey Bill, don't be dissing "Son of Paleface". Any movie where Trigger is funnier than Bob Hope is fine with me.

Not a diss. I love that one. But it is a little unrealistic.
