Is It Just Me?

Or does anyone else hate those sites where there are Bing links everywhere that pop up if you get your mouse anywhere near them or even look at the page too hard? It's beyond annoying. In fact, it induces Bing rage in me.

Not me.

But I don't know what "Bing" is.

I hate it...and, unfortunately, several of my favorite sites seem to have been overtaken. It's especially annoying when you try to click on a link and instead you get the little thumbnail screen shot. Aaarrrggghhh!!

It is so annoying that I am distancing myself from Microsoft entirely, and will look always for alternatives.

I didn't think anything about Bing could be more annoying than their ads.

Turns out I'm wrong.

Goodness, I have the "preview window" feature turned on at my site, I thought people would like it. I'll go turn it off right now.

As for Bing, Jeff, it's a search engine, like Google, only owned my M-soft

Very annoying. Can't stand it. Don't need it.

My eyes are bad enough without having to strain to see the next site, when a click will bring me there.

Well, what I had - came with WordPress, apparently - was SnapShots. I thought I had it turned off, but no, and it took three tries to get it gone. But gone it is. Sorry for the inconvenience, teeth-grinding or whatever.

Rick, it's not blogs that annoy me, and certainly not yours or Jim's. It's news sites on which nearly every other word is linked to some bing search. Drives me nuts.

yes, agreed - so you mean a whole news page and has some words with little underline and "relevant terms" there to link to another search. I find them very distracting to read, even if I make it 1/2 way down a page...
