Hilary Duff set for 'Bonnie and Clyde' - Entertainment News, Film News, Media - Variety: "Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers will star in indie feature 'The Story of Bonnie and Clyde,' produced by Cypress Moon Studios.

Tonya S. Holly will direct the film from her own script, which is a new adaptation of the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow rather than a remake of the 1967 classic film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty."

Hey, you can never have too many Bonnie & Clyde movies. And dare we expect that this signals Hillary's move to more, ah, adult roles?

I suppose this will be one those flicks with hip and glamorous crooks. A song or two. A montage of the two misunderstood lovers alternately laughing and speedily driving away from a bank. Completely skipping the less savory actions of the true-life dirt bags.

I'll bet stuff gets blowed up. And I hope there are lots of flash cuts, extreme closeups, and zig-zagging cameras. Ooooh, I'm getting all gooey inside just thinking about it.
