I've only seen Lost, 24, and Saturday Night Live. I wasn't inspired by the Lost pilot to watch another episode. I watched half the first season of 24 before I gave up. I quit on Saturday Night Live when the original crew left. The few times I tried to watch an episode after that, I stopped early in each one. It's been fifteen years since I even tried.
If 'pilot' can equal first episode, then "The Wire" sucked me in with only the first episode. "24" was equally as good. Never have seen "Lost's" pilot although I am now an avid "Lost" watcher. "CSI: Miami's" pilot episode was really an episode within the original "CSI". That episode really allowed David Caruso to shine. On a different note, I really enjoyed the pilot of "Eli Stone" and was quite happy when ABC picked it up.

I remember being pretty amazed by Twin Peaks, Hill Street Blues and Seinfeld. For very different reasons though.
