Based on Lovecraft's "The Colour out of Space," but better appreciated as a pastiche of Roger Corman's Edgar Allan Poe films (the director was the art designer on several Corman movies) and Karloff's "The Invisible Ray." Judging from published comments, I believe I'm about the only Lovecraft fan who likes this late-career vehicle for Boris.

I remember seeing it on the big screen and thinking it wasn't bad. I didn't know it was supposed to be Lovecraftian at the time, though.
