I've just heard from Lynn Meyers that the wife of Wayne Dundee, author of the Joe Hannibal series, passed away Sunday night. She was 58 years old. My sympathies to Wayne and the families.

I visited with Wayne and his wife a couple of times in Rockford. She was extremely freindly and made me feel very much at home. Wayne is one of the nicest mystery folks I ever met. This is a terrible blow for him.
I'm so sorry to hear this. What a terrible loss. Wayne's a wonderful guy and a fine writer, and my sympathies go out to him and the rest of the family.

I never met Wayne's wife, but he has my sympathy. I loved his writing and Joe Hannibal was a standout blue collar character.
