American Justice

And yet they put Paris n the slam and threw away the key. Thanks to Jeff Meyerson for the link.

Various "news" sources much excited by Lindsay Lohan's one day in jail, as well. Look, folks, I'm already having enough difficulty staying awake...

Maybe she slipped between the bars and walked out.
In fairness, she wasn't on probation. Or was she? I have a hard time keeping up with the antics of spoiled, self-centered brats these days.

Basically she got the time in jail that virtually everyone who has committed a similar offense would get thanks to jail overcrowding. She`s getting a certain amount of bad PR because she is a celebrity and because of the way that Paris Hilton was treated. In fact the amount of time that Paris Hilton spent in jail was far more than the average person in her circumstances would serve, which was the root of the dispute between the Sheriff's Department, which let her out, and the judge in the case. The cynic in me thinks that someone is running for something in that situation.
