Didn't I Read about this in Amazing Stories in 1957?

Spray-on clothing becomes a reality | Science | guardian.co.uk: "A Spanish fashion designer has developed the world's first spray-on clothing that can be worn, washed and worn again.

Manel Torres joined forces with scientists at Imperial College London to invent the spray, which forms a seamless fabric on contact with the body."

I wonder how you get it off? Putting it on again after washing it must be tricky, too. The reporter did not ask enough questions.

Television coverage suggested that it was as one-use as you might suspect.
