I remember reading John Wyndam's SF novels destroying the planet back in the SIxties.
I have that one on the shelf.
Just reread this last year. Holds up very well along with his Day of the Triffids
I enjoy Wyndham. I have a few of his British collections on Mount TBR; perhaps it's time to dig them out.
