If you like heist stories, the Gardner museum heist is a great one. The museum itself had incredibly sloppy security (the thieves had visited the museum that day and left unlocked windows open) and the heist itself was textbook. I suspect some of the artwork may have been stashed in less-than-ideal conditions and may have been ruined beyond repair. As for the $10 million: too little, too late. One way or another, that artwork is gone.
