Chemo #2

I'm at M.D. Anderson today to get the second chemo infusion.  I had a couple of bad days from the side-effects after the first one, but they weren't awful.  I hope this round doesn't get any worse.  Your support means a lot to me, and any prayers, good thoughts, and good karma are much appreciated.

You are always in our thoughts, not only on days like today but every day.

Too bad Willie Nelson doesn't drop by, IYKWIM.

Thinking of and praying for you, Bill! My dad hated chemo (who doesn't) but he kind of liked going as it was a chance to both be inspired by others there and do some inspiring of his own.

My sister just finished hers and though she's glad it's over, she's also glad she had this chance. Good vibes coming your way Bill.

You're at the best place ever for your chemo. I've been there for chemo and I'm still here 26 years later. I'm with you in spirit.

You're tougher than you might sometimes think, and you can do this, buddy.

Meyerson always says what I was going to say. Maybe that's because of our misspent youth(sic) watching the same movies. Thinking of you often.

Thanks, everybody. I'm back and feeling good. Side-effects don't usually kick for several days. I managed to get through them last time without serious problems, and I hope to do the same this time.
