I'm Sure You'll All Agree

The Greatest Creative Run in the History of Popular Music

He is very overrated. Dud some fine stuff in the 60's and 70's but little since. Also too much crap like I Just Called to Say I Love You.

While I agree that Stevie Wonder is a gifted musician and songwriter, I can't put his 1972-1976 output ahead of the Beatles' 1963-1970 output.

My husband says, what about CCR from 1968-1972? Or the Stones from 1964-1974? I'm also thinking about R.E.M. from the early 1980s to the early 1990s. And then there's U-2 who have been constantly reinventing themselves for almost three decades.

I dunno. I'd probably go with Dylan's 1965-66:
Bringing It All Back Home
Highway 61 Revisited
Blonde On Blonde

Also, some of the songs that didn't make the cut for those three albums:
Farewell, Angelina
Love Is Just a Four-Letter Word
Positively Fourth Street

But, then, I have a very strong bias.
