Did a couple of decent movies-The In Laws and The Out of Towners.
I was just going to say: "Serpentine, Shelly, serpentine!"
I'd add THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY and THE HOSPITAL.
I think he did his best work on television including 17 of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents and 12 for Route 66. He was a busy man on the small screen in 1958 through 1966. I'd say his best movies are The Hospital with George C. Scott and The Americanation of Emily with James Garner.
