I had this problem when I went to University of Arizona. Unfortunately, the staff were more intent on enforcing rules than helping people like me who were used to high school and public libraries. I finally got the hang of it, but I wasted a lot of time.

Library anxiety happens to me when the library isn't open and I am quickly running out of pages to read! Yeah, I know, I should keep an unread book in reserve... Unfortunately, not so much, and I have been forced upon occasion to go to the 24-hour Walmart at 3 AM, there to peruse the paperback section, hoping to find something worthy.
