Without even looking I would have bet that Gretchen Mol made the list. Some of the others, however, either I've never heard of (as I'm too old for CW soaps) or would scoff at the idea of them becoming "big stars" (Armie Hammer? seriously?). Before Gretchen Mol, the one I remember being hyped was Michael Pare (Greatesst American Hero, Eddie and the Cruisers).
The current incarnation: the annoying Greta Gerwig.
Jeff-- you and I certainly think alike. Before I even clicked on the link, I was saying to myself that the list would lack all credibility without Gretchen Mol. I remember her on the cover of Vanity Fair in the late 1990s, being proclaimed the new "It Girl", then...15-plus years of silence.
