Absolutely! Or not…. As a 911 & Emergency Dispatcher for 10 years, then supervisor/teacher/manger for 24 more, I could regale you for a whole evening with bizarre and funny stories about 911 calls and emergency stuff. It helped us get through the madness and mayhem, to be sure. I have a cassette tape (made years ago), by a fellow supervisor, called "911 Greatest Hits," which is exemplary and full of laughter from crazy 911 calls. I play it once a year (retired now for 8) to remember the little bit of fun we had in an otherwise crazy and stressful job in San Jose, CA. It includes a lengthy exchange with one of our Fire/Medical dispatcher giving CPR instructions to a woman whose "baby" was struggling - only to find out later that "baby" was a cat!

Surely this is why it was created in the first place.
