From the "We Don't Pay Our Teachers Enough " file : Jackie went on her Senior Trip to Washington that Spring and she says they sang "Wooly Bully" all the way there and all the way back.
My twins went on a church youth group trip to Arizona last summer and the youth pastor selected the entire Duck Dynasty series on DVD to watch on the overhead tv. All my girls could say was thank God for iPods and iPhones!

Grounds for expulsion!

Also, I think Wilson Pickett did a soul cover version of "Engine Engine Number 9" several years later.
Isn't there some law against subjecting people to Duck Dynasty videos? If not, there should be.
I never heard Wilson Pickett do that song. I'm going to have to look for it.

Soupy was a rock star!
I've now listened to Wilson Pickett's Engine #9. It's barely recognizable as the same song Roger Miller did.
I don't think I want to hear it.
I think I'll go listen to Sam the Sham & the Pharoahs doing "L'il Red Riding Hood" instead.
Jeff
What you don't want to hear is "The Mouse." OMG, as the kids used to say.
