Same people nominated for best novel every year. And Louise Penny wins every year (inexplicably). Is the fix in or what!

I've read four of them, and since a lot of my reading is older stuff, that's pretty good for me.

@ Mike Dennis, Penny is nominated every year because her books are very good. No, if you want to see "the fix is in" take a look at the Hugo Awards. That kind of thing isn't happening here.

Mike Dennis--well...would you agree with the Edgars for best novel going to Stephen King abd best short story to Gillian Flynn?

Really? I haven't read either item, but these two mega-bestsellers managed to write and publish the best of the year, and that's beyond reasonable questioning of the judgment of their peers?
