Literature from Librarians: Great Reads Written by the Experts

Star Man’s Son by Alice Mary (Andre) NortonLiterature from Librarians: Great Reads Written by the Experts: This is a unique reading list - these books were all written by librarians and most of them were recommended to us by librarians. If any profession is well qualified to write books then librarians truly fit the bill.

Andre Norton was the first SF writer I read as a kid. Later on, I learned "Andre" was a woman...and a librarian. She was full of surprises as well as the writer who made a Big First Impression on a new reader.

I enjoy James R Benn's WW2 series.
I still have not read Barbara Fister's novels but do check out her professional columns and commentary.
