I almost forgot to mention something that I try to tell people about every Halloween, which is that my (quite funny if I do say so myself) zombie story is still available to read for free at Revolution SF. Check it out.
That's fun, if just little heavy on the Kingian grossout (Crider, the Gentleman Splatterpunk)....in fact, that would be a nice entry the Book of the Dead trilogy (I still have to write the one I pitched to Skipp). Everyone should know zombies can't resist that snaking trombone line in "Honey Hush"! Thanks for the story and the pointer.
Her previous keepers turned over to the pound as Anna, and Alice wanted to name her for the cutest member of the cast of that season of THE L WORD, who played Niki, so Anna Nicole it is...

My reading was interrupted by Ninja the cat wanting a scritch and cuddle...the cats look upon the screens in the house as their competitors...
Ninja might have wanted to read the story.
Ninja looks upon Niki (aka Anna Nicole) the cat as all the horror she needs, tho' Niki has been slightly more civil of late.
Niki has a great name. I'm sure her namesake would be proud.
