When I was a kid I saved and saved to order the submarine one. I received the army tank. So disappointed. It was made from cardboard and the cannon was a card board tube with a rubber band across the back. Mom and dad made me keep it on the porch until it was ruined. Did play with it though. LOL!

I remember these ads and I've always wanted to hear from someone who actually bought one. Along with many others of the same sort of thing.
I never saw one when I was a kid. Nobody in the neighborhood had that much money.
The ads always seem to imply this was a fully functioning space ship, or whatever was being sold. What a deal!
Well, it says that the control levers worked. So surely it was real.
