Based on the admittedly limited rap music I've listened to, I imagine the song-writing process begins with, "OK, what's a word for a woman that I can rhyme with 'rich'?"
Oooops--misread the line--thought it said what's the most common rhyme in rap music. Pop music, I'd guess arms/charms which seems to pop up on a lot of songs.

Looks like my guess of Horatio/fellatio was WAY off.
That was probably #2, though.
Seems like most pop songs in the '80s used fire/desire.
