Overlooked Music

"A Horse With No Name" -What Does That Mean?

Overlooked? It certainly wasn't overlooked back in 1972 when I was in 9th grade. We'd spend all of algebra class trying to untangle those lyrics!

/America's wonderful "Everyone I Meet Is from California" is an overlooked gem.

Everyone knows that the horse's name is Mr. Ed.

Yes, that song has some of the most idiotic lyrics ever, like:

There were plants and birds, and rocks and things,
There was sand and hills and rings.
The ocean is a desert, with it's life underground,
And a perfect disguise above.
Under the cities lies, a heart made of ground,
But the humans will give no love.
