I used to buy `em 20 cents a pack a $1.50 a carton. Starting at age 13. The tobacco industry loved me.
You could go to the store with a quarter and get a pack of smokes, then buy a Dr Pepper or a candy bar with the nickel you got in change.
I got them for 25 cents a pack at the Army PX. Luckies were a great smoke.
