I seem to remember a show on Discovery or NatGeo which postulated that one of the reasons Neanderthals died out was that their babies were so much larger than homo sapien babies and Neanderthal women frequently died giving birth. So, in addition to an adventuresome spirit, any volunteer better have what used to be referred to as "child-bearing hips."

Bones last week did an episode involving the child of a homo sapien and a neanderthal. Amazingly it had nothing to do with the Kardiasians.
I think I saw this on the SyFy Channel's Saturday movie of the week.

They need to give that Octomom a call. She's already collecting enough money from Public Assistance, what's one more mouth to feed for the taxpayers.
