Total Boox: Total Boox is building a new platform for ebook distribution and consumption. A reader does not have to purchase a book upfront. He downloads the book into his tablet device, and pays for the portion he actually reads, when he reads it.

Yes, like when you order a meal and eat two or three bites, you don't have to pay for the rest of it. Or when you go to a movie and walk out after twenty minutes and they gladly refund your money. Like that.
