I don't know what's going on here lately. This one is about a mile or so from us and there is a much bigger one - 80 feet deep! - even closer on 92 Street. (We're on 88.) That one is causing a huge disruption as it is just off Third Avenue, the main shopping/dining street. Of course, the disruption is a lot worse for the people who live on that block.
