I wouldn't classify "Baby Got Back" as a summertime song and I've never even heard that song by New Kids on the Block. What about that old song that goes "Summertime, summertime, sum-sum-summertime"? That I can't get outta my head.
There's also "Summertime Blues" (Eddie Cochran?) and the beautiful "Summertime" from Porgy & Bess--best versions, imho, are by Billy Stewart and Sam Cooke.
