When I was in high school, a long time ago, our rival in a nearby town were the Golden Lions. Whenever we beat them in football, basketball, we used to ride through their town singing this song at the top of our lungs.
Don't know whether it had anything to do with it, but a few years later, they were suddenly the Golden Rams.
